Today was again the same combination of classes as yesterday - Financial Accounting followed by Communication skills.
As I skipped the All-Intake IMBA cocktail last night, I had plenty of time to read the F.A. notes and I found that reading thoroughly really really helps during the class !! So, no skimming, specially for F.A. from here on :-)
The simple exercises to improve our articulation skills, taught by Lola during the communication skills class, were all fun and very doable on a day-to-day basis.
And yes, while we saw many speakers, both in form of videos and in form of volunteers in the class, the S.T.A.R. moment of today's class for me was when Lola said: Giving a presentation without knowing your audience is like writing a Love Letter and then addressing it to 'whomsoever it may concern' :-)
