Today was our first day of Strategy class - Well, while we had already done our reading on what strategy is and what it is not, what happened in class was quite amazing.
While discussing on how strategy takes into account the market dynamics, and how it is about getting maximum returns, Luis, Our Professors took us through the latest learning's we have had in our Financial Accounting class and our Managerial Economic class and gave us a new perspective on both these topics and he did this implicitly, as part of his class, and not to revise the other classes :-)
So, we not only understood the definition of strategy better, but also got additional information on the purpose served by demand and supply curves and the valuation techniques.
Now that I can see how all the subjects fit together into each other, I guess this is going to be an interesting class for sure !!
By the way, Impact Weekend team has started to work towards arranging our mentoring and other prize items like HUB membership. They sent their first mail in this regards today. So, another thing to look forward to :-)
