And, its a wrap-up :-)

Well, if you have been reading this blog, you will remember how a day before this term started, we all gathered outside the IE Library compound, took 3 buses to Segovia and participated in the opening ceremony.
"Prepare yourselves for a Roller Coaster Ride" - they said to us.
And then, on the first day of term one, Erik came to our class and told us a story about a guy who needs to let go off the tree and jump from the cliff.

Well, well, through out the term one which has now officially ended, we did just that. Took the IE roller coaster ride with its own highs and lows and "metaphorically" let ourselves off our grip to allow the free fall into the valley unexplored.

Thanks to initiative by the lovely couple - Christine Gomes and Marcello Schneider in our intake, with 100+ jumps against their names individually, some of us grouped together today to do SKY-DIVING :-)

That's right - we were just not satisfied with the "metaphorical" free fall off a cliff - we wanted the real thing.

So it was that a day after the term one, seventeen of us from IMBA April batch gathered this afternoon outside the IE Library compound, took 3 cars to the sky diving drop zone and let ourselves off from a "perfectly normal" plane - free fall from 4000 meters until 1500 meters above the ground and then a great parachute ride :-)
The plane ride up in the sky, before the jump was much more intense than any roller coaster, with those bumps and jerks and turbulence scaring the hell out of us before the jump.

Of course, once I jumped, the experience I had today, is magical, unforgettable and beyond description in any words.
I will just post a picture of my dive here for benefit of all.

If you have noticed the symmetry in things a day before the term one and a day after the term one, you would appreciate the whole IE experience even more.

Time flies and today we were flying as well :-)
Anyways, there could not have been any better way to wrap up our first term here at IE!!

All set to take on the next term now :-D
